Absalom

Absalom was King David's son, and "in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty" (2 Samuel 14:25). He sat by the city gate and won people over with flattery, turning them against his own father. Then he made himself king and David had to run for his life.

And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.
