The Shepherds Path

How a lesson works

Five minutes, one passage, a handful of questions. Here is what happens when you tap a lesson.

  1. 1

    Meet

Each lesson opens by introducing the people in the passage, with their key verse.

  2. 2

    Read

Read the passage itself, quoted in full from the King James Version, and listen along if you like.

  3. 3

    Check

A few quick questions about what you just read. Get one wrong and it comes back later in the lesson.

  4. 4

    Match and order

Match people to what they did, and put events in the order they happened.

  5. 5

    Build the verse

Rebuild a key verse word by word, so it starts to stay with you.

  6. 6

    Live it out

End with one honest question for your own life, and a private journal only you can see.

Every passage, word for word

The King James text, never a paraphrase

We quote the King James Version exactly as it reads, and explain the hard words in plain English around it, never inside it.

  • Every passage quoted in full
  • Read aloud by a recorded voice
  • Hints when you're stuck, a limited number on the adult paths
Streak and armour of God
Keeping it going

A streak, a reminder, and the armour of God

Learn a little each day and your streak grows. Keep it going and you earn the whole armour of God from Ephesians 6, one piece at a time. Miss a day and a streak saver can cover it.

  • Daily streak and streak savers
  • Seven pieces of armour to earn
  • A gentle reminder at 6:30 PM
Choosing a path
Three paths
