King Agrippa

King Agrippa came to Caesarea with great pomp to visit the new governor, Festus. He knew the Jewish scriptures well, so Festus brought Paul to speak before him. Paul told the story of how Jesus met him on the road to Damascus. Agrippa came close, but almost is not the same as believing.

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
