Ananias

Called Saul, Brother Saul

Acts 9:17

Ananias was "a certain disciple at Damascus" (Acts 9:10), not famous, just faithful. When the Lord told him to go to Saul, he was afraid, because he knew Saul's reputation. But he obeyed. He laid his hands on the man who had come to arrest Christians and greeted him as a brother.

And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
