Boaz

Boaz was a wealthy man of Bethlehem and a relative of Naomi's late husband. He noticed Ruth gleaning in his field and was kind to her. As a near kinsman, he had the right to redeem the family's land and take Ruth as his wife, and he gladly paid the price to do it.

And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.
