Darius
Decreed that men fear the God of Daniel
Daniel 6:26
Darius the Median took the kingdom the night Belshazzar was slain. He set Daniel over his presidents, and after God shut the lions' mouths, he wrote to his whole kingdom that men should fear the God of Daniel. In the first year of Darius, Daniel opened Jeremiah's book and began to pray.
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
