Elisha
Asked for a double portion of Elijah's spirit
2 Kings 2:9
Elisha the son of Shaphat was plowing "with twelve yoke of oxen before him" (1 Kings 19:19) when Elijah cast his mantle upon him. He followed Elijah to the end. When Elijah went up by a whirlwind, Elisha took up the fallen mantle, smote the Jordan, and it parted. The sons of the prophets said, "The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha" (2 Kings 2:15).
And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
