Isaiah
Here am I; send me
Isaiah 6:8
Isaiah the son of Amoz prophesied "in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah" (Isaiah 1:1). In the year that king Uzziah died he saw the LORD high and lifted up, and he answered the call with, "Here am I; send me" (Isaiah 6:8). John tells us whose glory Isaiah saw that day: "These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him" (John 12:41).
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
