Job
Perfect and upright, one that feared God
Job 1:1
Job lived in the land of Uz and was a godly man with a large family and great wealth. In one terrible day he lost his flocks, his servants and all ten of his children, and then his own health. The book of Job shows how a believer can hold on to God when life makes no sense.
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
