Jochebed
Mother of Moses
Exodus 6:20
Jochebed was a Hebrew mother in Egypt at a terrible time, when Pharaoh ordered every baby boy thrown into the river. She hid her son for three months, then placed him in a little ark among the reeds. God used her faith to save the boy who would one day lead Israel out of Egypt.
And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.
