John Mark

John Mark went with Paul and Barnabas on their first journey as their helper. Partway through, at Perga, he left them and went home to Jerusalem. Later Paul would not take him again, but Barnabas did. Years after that, Paul himself asked for Mark. God is the God of second chances.

And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
