Jonah

Jonah was the son of Amittai, a prophet of Israel. God told him to go and preach to Nineveh, a great and wicked city of Israel's enemies. Jonah did not want them to be spared, so he ran the other way. God sent a storm, a great fish, and a second call. Jonah's book shows that God's mercy is bigger than our prejudice.

Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
