Joseph (Mary's husband)

Joseph was a just man from the family of King David. When he learned Mary was with child, he did not want to shame her. Then God spoke to him in a dream, and Joseph obeyed right away. He became the faithful husband who cared for Mary and the child Jesus.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
