Joshua

Joshua first appears in Exodus 17, leading Israel's men against Amalek while Moses prayed on the hill. He later served as Moses' young helper and never left God's tent. But before that battle, Israel had to learn something every believer needs to learn: to depend on God every single day.

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
