Judas Iscariot

Judas was one of the twelve. He walked with Jesus, heard His teaching and saw His miracles. He kept the money bag, but John tells us "he was a thief, and had the bag" (John 12:6). In the end he sold the Lord to His enemies. Judas is a warning that being near Jesus is not the same as belonging to Him.

And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
