Lazarus

Lazarus lived in the village of Bethany with his sisters Martha and Mary, and Jesus loved all three of them. When Lazarus fell sick, his sisters sent word to Jesus. Jesus waited, and Lazarus died. After four days in the grave, Jesus called him out alive.

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
