Luke

Luke was a doctor and a faithful friend to Paul. He wrote two books of your Bible, the Gospel of Luke and the book of Acts, both to a man named Theophilus. Starting in Acts 16, Luke writes "we" because he was travelling with Paul. At the very end of Paul's life he wrote, "Only Luke is with me" (2 Timothy 4:11).

Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
