Mary of Bethany

Mary loved to sit at Jesus' feet and listen. Jesus said she had "chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:42). When Lazarus died, she fell at His feet weeping. Later she anointed His feet with costly ointment and wiped them with her hair (John 12:3).

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
