The Shepherds Path
Miriam
The prophetess who sang at the Red Sea
Exodus 15:20
Miriam was the sister of Aaron and Moses. After God brought Israel safely through the Red Sea, she took a timbrel and led the women in singing and praise. Her song gave all the glory to the LORD, who had saved them.
And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
