Peter
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God
Matthew 16:16
Simon was a fisherman and Andrew's brother. When Andrew brought him to Jesus, Jesus gave him a new name, Cephas, which means a stone. Peter was bold, sometimes too quick to speak, but he loved the Lord, and Jesus made him a fisher of men.
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
