Pharaoh (of the Exodus)

This Pharaoh ruled Egypt when Moses and Aaron came with God's message. He mocked the LORD and refused to let Israel go. Plague after plague fell on Egypt. Each time relief came, Pharaoh hardened his heart again, until the night the firstborn of Egypt died.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
