Phebe

Phebe was a sister in Christ who served the church at Cenchrea, a seaport near Corinth. Paul asked the believers at Rome to receive her and help her, because she had been a succourer, a helper, of many, Paul included. Many believe she carried Paul's letter to Rome. Her life is a picture of Romans 12: a believer who gave herself to serve.
