Pontius Pilate
Gave sentence as they required
Luke 23:24
Pontius Pilate was the Roman governor, the only man in Jerusalem who could order a crucifixion. He questioned Jesus and said again and again that he found no fault in Him. But he wanted to please the crowd more than he wanted to do right, so he handed Jesus over to be crucified.
Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
