The Shepherds Path
Sarah
Mother of Isaac, the promised son
Genesis 21:2
Sarai was barren, and for many years the promise of a son looked impossible. God changed her name to Sarah and said "she shall be a mother of nations" (Genesis 17:16). She laughed in the tent door when she heard it, yet Hebrews says she "judged him faithful who had promised" (Hebrews 11:11).
Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
