Silas

Silas was a faithful brother whom Paul chose as his partner when he and Barnabas went separate ways (Acts 15:40). At Philippi, Paul and Silas were beaten and locked in the stocks for preaching Christ. Instead of complaining, they sang. God used that midnight song to bring a hard jailer to Christ.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
