Timothy

Timothy, called Timotheus in Acts, was a young disciple at Lystra whose mother "was a Jewess, and believed" (Acts 16:1). His grandmother Lois and mother Eunice taught him the Scriptures from a child. Paul took him along on his journeys, and he came with Silas to help Paul at Corinth (Acts 18:5). Paul later wrote two letters to him, First and Second Timothy.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
